Face, Eyelid and Brow Lifts //
Face: If you are bothered by signs of aging in your face, facelift surgery may be right for you. Technically known as rhytidectomy, a facelift is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck. It helps resolve deep wrinkles between the nose and mouth as well as loose skin and jowling in the jaw and neck. Surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Recovery from swelling and bruising takes 2-3 weeks. A less invasive minifacelift can be performed while awake under local anesthesia with a shorter recovery time. String lifts are less invasive still, and may be the answer for very early signs of facial aging.
Eyelid: Also known as blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery improves the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. It treats loose and hanging skin as well as puffiness, bags and fine line wrinkles. It gives a rejuvenated appearance to the surrounding area of your eyes, making you look more rested and alert. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and recovery ranges from 7-10 days.
Brow: A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, reduces wrinkle lines, improves frown lines, eliminates vertical lines above the nose and raises sagging brows. It gives an effect similar to Botox but is a permanent solution. Surgery is under general anesthesia and recovery is approximately 7-10 days.
Rhinoplasty is sometimes referred to as "nose reshaping." It can improve the appearance and proportion of your nose, or correct a breathing problem associate with the nose. Rhinoplasty can be performed for cosmetic reasons or out of necessity as the result of trauma. Most insurances cover surgery for breathing difficulties or traumatic injuries. General anesthesia is required and a splint is applied to the nose for one week to ten days.
